AI-Ready Team Self Assessment

This AI-Ready Self Assessment is intended for teams seeking to understand where they are and what they can do to be ready for AI adoption.

Purpose

This assessment helps teams evaluate how well they are prepared to integrate AI into their ways of working, focusing on leadership, collaboration, adaptability, and decision-making rather than AI implementation.

Instructions

Rate your team on a scale of 1 to 5 for each statement.

  • 1 = Strongly Disagree
  • 2 = Somewhat Disagree
  • 3 = Neutral / Uncertain
  • 4 = Somewhat Agree
  • 5 = Strongly Agree

At the end, total your score to determine your AI-Readiness Level and get recommended next steps.

Scoring & AI-Readiness Level

80-100 pointsAI-Ready & Future-Focused

Your organization is well-prepared to integrate AI into its ways of working. You embrace adaptability, collaboration, and human-AI synergy—key traits of an AI-Ready culture. Your next step is to experiment and refine AI-enhanced processes while ensuring ethical oversight.

60-79 pointsAI-Curious, but Needs Stronger Foundations

Your team is open to AI adoption but may have gaps in collaboration, adaptability, or decision-making frameworks. Focus on building AI literacy, fostering cross-functional teamwork, and strengthening change resilience.

40-59 pointsAI Awareness, But Resistance Exists

Your organization recognizes AI’s potential but may struggle with silos, fear of change, or lack of leadership alignment. Start with small cultural shifts, such as normalizing AI discussions, improving collaboration, and emphasizing learning over fear.

Below 40 pointsNot AI-Ready Yet

Your organization may lack the adaptability, learning culture, or collaboration needed to effectively integrate AI. Focus on changing team behaviors first—building a growth mindset, breaking down silos, and increasing comfort with experimentation.

Next Steps

  • Organizations scoring below 60 should consider a facilitated AI-Readiness Assessment to build a structured improvement plan.
  • Organizations scoring 80+ should focus on scaling their AI-ready mindset across leadership and teams.
